Rotary milling

The milling machine is consist of out coming roller conveyor of horizontal casting, material table, loading device,in coming roller conveyor,roller feeding unit,six-roller spinning frame straightening unit, planetary milling head, poll-out rollers(Cr-coating), out coming roller conveyor, milling lubricating & cooling unit, pneumatic and electric control system.

The six-roller spinning frame straightening unit is installed in feeding line, six straightening rollers are installed in opposite position with cross angle, by acting the push and bending force on the billet, the surface quality and roundness, straightness of the billet are improved, and this helps to reduce the milling depth, also increases the yield and quality.

The milling head is a separate “box”, easy to be installed, also this structure has very good sealing performance. There is precise guiding device in the milling head to ensure a good positioning of the billet which minimize the vibration and peeling depth, and improve the milling quality as well. The position of the milling blade is stepless adjustable, this means one milling blade spec will fit for different billet OD, and different milling depth as well. The planetary milling finishing the whole billet surface milling by one pass. There is chip cleaning unit at the out outlet opening. Every milling head has one milling blade and 2 supporting rollers, the width of the milling blade is 12mm. There is a swing arm to move the milling blade, in case of blade wearing and changing, the operator only needs to adjust the swing arm. All these features make the planetary milling machine to have a high efficiency, also reduce the milling blade specs and inventory.
